Project Science Camps
Camp Information
What is Project Science Camp?
Project Science camps offer a fun combination of scientific discovery and exploration,
outdoor games, physical activities, presentation of scientific principles and hands-on
applications of those principles. Your child will be able to touch, see, hear, smell
and taste what science is really all about. We use an inquiry-based technique that
allows even the youngest camper to enjoy our learning environment. Campers create
a variety of take-home projects and participate in exciting activities while exploring
how science affects the world around us. Your child will have so much fun, he may
deny he is learning.

Camp Themes for Winter Break 2009
- Crazy Chemistry & Chemical Reactions!
It's slimy, it's disgusting, and it's a little disturbing; that's also the reason
we scientists crave it. We'll be mixing chemicals to see what happens. We'll explore
chemical elements, liquids-solids-gases, fluorescence, weird reactions, crystals,
rubber, dry ice, matter, food chemistry, and fingerprinting and more.
