Camp Information

Important News
Unfortunately we’ve had to cancel our summer camps this year. We just don’t have enough sign-ups to do it. Please be sure to think of us for birthday parties in the coming year and hopefully we’ll be able to offer camps in the future. – I do apologize for the inconvenience - Richard

Our next camp will be Summer 2011

What is Project Science Camp?

Project Science camps offer a fun combination of scientific discovery and exploration, outdoor games, physical activities, presentation of scientific principles and hands-on applications of those principles. Your child will be able to touch, see, hear, smell and taste what science is really all about. We use an inquiry-based technique that allows even the youngest camper to enjoy our learning environment. Campers create a variety of take-home projects and participate in exciting activities while exploring how science affects the world around us. Your child will have so much fun, he may deny he is learning.

How much does Project Science Camp cost?

The price for Project Science Camp can vary by location, duration and date. For details click here. For our complete schedule of camps for 2010 click here.

Camp Themes for Summer 2011

  • Crazy Chemistry & Chemical Reactions!
It's slimy, it's disgusting, and it's a little disturbing; that's also the reason we scientists crave it. We'll be mixing chemicals to see what happens. We'll explore chemical elements, liquids-solids-gases, fluorescence, weird reactions, crystals, rubber, dry ice, matter, food chemistry, and fingerprinting and more.
  • Roller Coaster Rides (Physics!)
Physics, balance, motion, flight, inertia, friction and bubbles, forces, energy, balls & ramps, gravity. We’ll be making many projects to explore the world of physics using rockets, catapults, rubber bands, buildings, marbles etc.
